Andrea Walker started her career at UCT Libraries as a Cataloguer, migrated to metadata, and is now an Archivist. She spends most of her time in the Audiovisual Archive and has been supervising the day-to-day running of the AV Recovery and Digitisation Project since the devastating Jagger Library Fire in 2021. She holds a PGDipLIS, an MSc in Archaeology, and recently completed an MPhil in Intellectual Property Law, focusing on copyright in South African research archives.
