
Digital broadcasting services’ success is highly influenced by how broadcasters, telecommunication organisations, and regulators collaborate to ensure seamless extension in the delivery of cost-effective broadcasting services.
Additionally, it has been noted that the broadcasting services offering structure affects all players in the broadcasting chain, including content creators, aggregators, service providers, and content distributors, who are affected by the evolution of broadcast technology and the expansion of demand for broadcasting spectrum.
In light of uniting industry players in the quest to support the successful implementation of strong, vibrant digital broadcasting and media services industry in Zimbabwe, Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) and its convener partner, the Zimbabwe Association of Broadcasters (ZAB), will be hosting an industry summit from Tuesday, March 15 to Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The “Inaugural Broadcasting And Digital Media Summit Of Zimbabwe” is set to bring together industry stakeholders from in-country and the diaspora to conduct business and forge valuable assertions that will be beneficial for the positive development of the industry.
Key industry players such ad Mr Matthias Chakanyuka, Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe and Ms Adelaide Chikunguru, the Chief Executive Officer at Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), will be among those that will headline the Forum.
