Archiving specialists NOA GmbH, founded by Peter Kuhnle, Marcus Krämer and Christophe Kummer, have announced they are partnering with the #PreserveAfricaArchives (PAA) programme.
The #PreserveAfricaArchives programme aims to protect Africa’s audio-visual cultural heritage by fast-tracking and facilitating the digitisation, cataloguing, archiving and preservation of Africa’s media assets through the provision of world-class resources

The organisation perceives NOA’s expertise as being perfectly aligned with the industry programme to help institutions develop media asset preservation and promote archiving activities and initiatives by assisting with the provision of adequate technological and human resource capabilities.
Welcoming NOA to the programme, Benjamin Pius, the Principal Administrator of the #PAA, stated: “The initiative which is dedicated to preserving sound and audio-visual assets in Africa
needed to partner with an organisation like NOA to ensure that the best-in-class resources are deployed to provide access to legacy African Sound and Audio-visual content”.
Commenting on joining the programme as a solution’s partner, Jean-Christophe Kummer, NOA’s Managing Partner, said: “We are honoured to join this organisation as solutions partners”.
