While 61% of organisations have launched platforms, most struggle with a “monetisation crisis” where 42% earn no revenue and 53% offer content for free. Infrastructure remains a major “Achilles heel,” with 65% of operators unable to guarantee a reliable stream due to connectivity and delivery issues. Success currently depends on local content, which accounts for 55% of performance, far outperforming international libraries.
