Pan-African pay-TV operator StarTimes said it had secured non-exclusive broadcasting rights for the next five seasons for the leading Spanish football leagues, LaLiga and LaLiga 2.
Per the multi-year agreement, StarTimes will deliver programming of the football tournament in Spain until the 2028/2029 season to customers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
LaLiga matches will be available in many languages, including English, Portuguese, and local dialects, to fans in the Sub-Saharan territory, ensuring that every fan, regardless of their language, feels catered to.
