Industry Survey

in Industry Survey

The global media landscape is currently experiencing a profound transformation, largely driven by the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI technologies fundamentally redefine how content is created, distributed, and consumed, offering unprecedented personalisation, efficiency, and engagement opportunities.

In seeking to understand the depth and breadth of AI adoption in the African media landscape, Broadcast Media Africa will assess the readiness of the media sector in Africa to embrace AI technologies, understand the current level of adoption, identify challenges, and explore opportunities for growth and transformation.

The “AI and Transformation of Media: Africa Readiness Survey” aims to comprehensively assess the readiness of the African media industry to embrace AI technologies.

This survey seeks actionable insights that will inform strategic decisions, policy-making, and investments in the region by exploring the current state of AI adoption, identifying barriers, and uncovering growth opportunities.

Therefore, the survey will comprehensively analyse the current state of AI adoption in the African media industry. Its findings will, hopefully, help stakeholders better shape Africa’s media industry’s future.
