MultiChoice Ghana, the country’s leading pay-television platform offering DStv and GOtv services, has declared an uncompromising stance against content piracy with the commencement of the European football season.

Mr Alex Okyere, the Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana, underscored the company’s determination to combat piracy. He emphasised the illegal nature of using decoders from other countries to access their content and highlighted the company’s plan to collaborate with the police in pursuing these illegal activities.

During the launch of the new football season on DStv, GOtv, and Showmax, Mr Okyere emphasised the global significance of football in uniting people and stressed the importance of supporting legitimate channels. He pointed out that piracy and illegal streaming undermine legitimate businesses and urged fans to refrain from purchasing pirated devices or using dubious streaming apps.

Mr. Okyere also reaffirmed MultiChoice’s commitment to providing a top-notch viewing experience for football enthusiasts and unveiled a special offer for GOtv customers.
