Zee Entertainment is proud to announce its partnerships with major international brands, MultiChoice, Kellogg’s and Miss India South Africa.
Zee has partnered with Multichoice Talent Factory, an education programme that develops emerging TV and film talent in Africa, through an accredited 12-month immersion programme including theory and hands-on experience in cinematography, editing, audio production and storytelling.
Zee will host masterclasses in the Kenya, Zambia and Nigeria academies pertaining to film and television production by Zee’s renowned filmmakers. Zee will also sponsor the top students to spend two weeks on a Bollywood production set in India, and the best short films from MultiChoice Talent Factory graduates will feature on Zee World, DStv channel 166, and GOtv channel 25.
“Zee is delighted to partner with Multichoice Talent Factory as we share the same vision in growing and developing local talent. We are thrilled to provide a platform for the new generation of African storytellers to showcase their work,” says Zee Entertainment Africa CEO Somnath Malakar.
Zee World has also partnered with the world’s No.1 cereal company, Kellogg’s, by producing the Kellogg’s Superstars Quiz Show in search of the top-performing students and schools from different regions in Nigeria.
Schools compete against each other in mental and physical games, trivia, and syllabus questions that test their abilities and eventually reveal who shines the brightest.
The winners will win prizes for themselves, their teachers and their school in this 13-part series.
“Partnering with Kellogg’s stemmed from Zee World’s unequivocal success in Africa. Zee World has enjoyed continued growth over the years, and this partnership with Kellogg’s is a milestone in the channel’s endeavour to offer local content and connect with its audiences,” says Desiree Pillay, VP: Of Content & Marketing at Zee World.
Kellogg’s Superstars Quiz Show premiered on 6 November and currently airs every Saturday and Sunday at 6 pm on Zee World DStv channel 166 and GOtv channel 25.
Zee continues its partnership with the Zee TV Miss India South Africa Pageant, which started 28 years ago as an innovative leadership programme, giving young women an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents.
Zee will give the winner an opportunity to participate in a Zee original production in India.
The pageant finals were held in Durban on Saturday, 3 December, and the highlights of the event will be aired on Zee World – DStv channel 166, Zee One – OpenView channel 111 and Zee TV – DStv Indian, channel 452.
