The 10th season of Tropika Island of Treasure is coming back to SABC3. The new host, Anga Makubalo, will be joined by an “all-star” lineup, similar to that of M-Net’s Survivor South Africa’s upcoming 9th season.
Tropika Island of Treasure: All-Stars, funded by Clover beverage brand, will be produced by Cardova Productions.
The 10th season of the show will be filmed in mid-2022 and will air on SABC3 between September and December.
Makubalo, also known as NaakMusiq, is no stranger to the show. Previously, the host had won the 7th season of the gameshow filmed in Seychelles.
Miantha Roux, Clover beverages Marketing Manager, said, “Having an ex winner present the show is our way of celebrating past contestants. We are pleased to bring back the show after a year-long COVID-19 break. We hope this season will be smoother than any other with an All Start returning lineup to land in paradise once again.”
Anga Makubalo said, “I am excited to be hosting the Tropika Island of Treasure: All Stars this season. There has been a series of fantastic people in the past who have hosted the show, and I am happy to be joining the 10th season.”
“It will be wonderful to see the interaction of the All-Star lineup and new contestants this season, competing for the treasure.”
Tropika Island of Treasure: All-Stars has opened entries, and people can send an audition video on WhatsApp to 082 857 8054 in April and May.
