Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) recently announced that it has committed to scaling up communication cooperation with its Mozambican partners through the Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern Africa.
The regulator made the commitment during the tour of the National Communications Institute of Mozambique (INCM) delegation learning visit on communication services management.
The delegation acknowledges that TCRA has made tremendous progress in frequency spectrum management, the quality of services and cross-border communication.
In his welcome address, John Daffa, the director of Licensing and Compliance with TCRA, said the authority would share with the delegates all the valuable regulatory experience that will help them improve telecommunication services in Mozambique.
“We are confident that the collaboration between the two regulatory bodies would develop the sector in respective countries. Our experts will share TCRA skills in managing communications from a modern point of view,” Daffa added,
Francisco Chate, INCM’s head of delegation, expressed the anticipations of his team in learning from TCRA’s competence in technological experience in managing telecommunications technology and services in the continent.
