
Egypt has announced the return of the infamous Shark Tank Season 2 series.
The show continues to feature well-established Egyptian entrepreneurs like Ahmed El-Sewedy, president and CEO of El-Sewedy Electric; Ayman Abbas, the founder of Egyptian Chinese Drilling Company; Abdallah Sallam, CEO and managing director of Madinet Nasr for Housing and Development; Mohamed Farouk, chairman and CEO of Mobica Designs; and Mohamed Mansour, co-founder and CEO of Infinity Solar and managing director of McDonald’s Egypt. In some episodes, Hilda Louca, founder and CEO of online shopping platform MITCHA, also joined the Sharks team.
It provides a platform for innovative thinkers to transform their ideas into reality with the support and mentorship of seasoned business experts. The first season has proven to be a powerful catalyst for empowering and motivating aspiring entrepreneurs across Egypt.
With Season 1 aired each Saturday, Shark Tank Egypt showcased various companies vying for funding.
“Last season, Shark Tank Egypt saw an impressive infusion of over EGY 70 million in investments, underscoring the show’s remarkable impact and boundless growth opportunities,” the press release states.
The first episode of Season 2 will be aired on Wednesday, 25 October, and the rest will continue each Wednesday on CBC, a TV channel broadcasting from Cairo, and WATCH IT, a video-on-demand service for Arabic content online.
