
Organisers of the 6th edition of the Broadcast And Digital Media Africa Convention have announced that more than 200+ broadcast industry leaders and executives experts will participate in Kigali, Rwanda, for the event.
Taking place at the Serena Hotels & Resorts, from Tuesday 25 October -Thursday 27 October 2022, the convention brings key industry broadcasters and media practitioners from across Africa together to connect, learn and do business.
Speaking about the convention, Arthur Asiimwe, Director-General of Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (the Convention Host), said: “We are delighted to be hosting this year’s Broadcasters convention. We hope to provide the enabling environment for our colleagues from across the continent to meet, connect and do business.”
The 3-day industry convention incorporates the 29th Annual General Meeting of the Southern Africa Broadcasting Association – SABA.
The President of SABA, Mr Stanley Benjamin Similo, has noted that some of the broadcasting organisations joining from the SABA ranks will include the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation, Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation, Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation, Independent Broadcasting Authority (Zambia), Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, Botswana Broadcasting Corporation, Angola TV, Eswatini Broadcasting Corporation, Mozambique TV and Radio and many more.
