The Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA) has partnered with the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA) and Broadcasting Media Africa (BMA) to convene the 6th edition of Broadcasters and Digital Media Convention – Africa, which will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from Tuesday 18th October – 20th October 2022
The theme for this year’s industry convention is: “Digital broadcasting – Promoting Our Values, Enriching Our Lives“, and the Convention will also incorporate the 29th Annual General Meeting of the Southern Africa Broadcasting Association – SABA.
As in previous editions, the Broadcasters and Digital Media Convention – Africa will showcase global best industry practices, detailing working strategies and plans for stakeholders and professionals from TV, radio, film, music, telecoms, advertising and new media platforms from within the region to connect, learn and do business.
With a host of industry players, the convention will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions and an interactive platform to make new connections.
Speaking about the convention, Mr Cecil Nguvauva, the Secretary-General of the Southern Africa Broadcasting Association (SABA), said, “As new technologies enter the market and as consumer appetite changers, broadcasters need to constantly develop new approaches to meet the demand. It is through such collaborative ventures that will move the industry forward”.
