Nigerian filmmaker Biodun Stephen recently announced that a follow-up to the fan favourite ‘Breaded Life’ film is officially in the works.
Taking to social media, the acclaimed filmmaker teased some behind-the-scenes (BTS) from the ongoing production with the leads from the 2021 movie – Timini Egbuson and Bimbo Ademoye. The male lead, Egbuson, also shared pictures via his Instagram account confirming production.
While release details remain unknown, the sequel is expected to deliver another exciting story.
The original film, released in 2021, follows Sunmi, a spoiled brat whose life drastically turns after a dramatic circumstance forces him to fend for himself in the streets.
The film is produced by Biodun Stephen, Tara Ajibulu, and Kayode Sowade, and the cast includes Ademoye, Bisola Aiyeola, Tina Mba, and Lateef Adedimeji.
According to the Nigerian box office records, the original 2021 movie raked in about US$21 825 in the opening weekend and a total of US$ 193 933.34 in box office earnings.
