Multichoice Group Digital boss Vincent Maher will be the newest executive to leave the organisation.
The former digital boss confirmed his exit via his LinkedIn page with words which read “my last day at MultiChoice Group”. He joined the group in November 2018, was appointed as group executive for digital in August 2021, and is leaving after five years.
MultiChoice is experiencing the exit of top executives seeking greener pastures and getting simmered by global video streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Studios, establishing shops in South Africa and Nigeria.
MultiChoice is yet to announce a replacement for Vincent Maher, as the only statement made after his exit became known is “in line with our continued dedication to operational excellence and resource optimisation, we have reorganised some of our systems, and the group now reports all digital function to Yatish Narsi, Chief Marketing Officer for MultiChoice South Africa”.
