
Organisers of the forthcoming Radio And Digital Audio Broadcasting Convention – Africa, which will take place on Tuesday 18th – Thursday 20th April 2023, in Maputo, Mozambique, have revealed that the summit will look at: An examination of the future of digital radio in Africa – technology and content.
Hosted by Radio Mozambique, in collaboration with Broadcast Media Africa and the Southern Africa Broadcasters Association (SABA), this industry convention will be attended by industry executives within the radio and audio broadcasting sector in Africa and beyond.
Speaking about the upcoming convention, Mr Benjamin Pius, Publisher and CEO of Broadcast Media Africa and convener of the conference, said, “Digital radio and sound broadcasting promise to improve both the quantity and quality of what is available on the radio and to increase the number of people who will be able to listen to the radio. With the changing media landscape, it is thus essential for broadcasters to examine their role in the ecosystem to effectively meet their objectives.”
