He has 24 years of practice in broadcasting, with experience in the fields of Technology,
Engineering, Research and Media Law.
He is the Group Director of Operations for the CRYSTAL MEDIA GROUP, which includes all the channel brands of CRYSTAL TV, Ghana’s First Private Television Station and the MEGA-CHOICE DIGITAL NETWORK – operators of the Africa-wide digital terrestrial and satellite television network. He is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Crystal TV Group and is in charge of Business Development, Content Acquisitions and Productions, as well as Technology Research and Development.
He has worked with a wide spectrum of broadcast technology providers, both from systems manufacturers and engineers across the world. Prince Hari Crystal is an Executive Council Member of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA). He currently represents Subscriber Television (Pay TV/OTT) Broadcasters on the Executive Council and serves as the Chairman of the Legal, Regulatory and Ethics Committee of GIBA. As one of the 18 Commissioners of the National Media Commission (NMC) in Ghana, he is the GIBA representative on the Commission and serves as the Chairman of Emerging Technology and Regulations Committee. He is also a member of three other committees of the NMC, namely, the Complaints Settlement, Legal & Free Expression, and Media Committees.
