Africa Digital Heritage Foundation
Mutanu Kyany’a is a digital society expert and the Head of Programs at African Digital Heritage, where she provides leadership in the execution of a holistic digital practice within African cultural heritage. Informed by her background in community development and computer science, Mutanu works with African communities to actively re-imagine and re-document their histories and cultures through the adoption of digital interventions that centre their needs and realities. Her expertise has been particularly significant in the research, design and execution of Skills for Culture: a capacity building program that promotes contemporary practice, youth participation and technology. While she is not thinking about work, she enjoys spending time in nature with her cat and dogs.
