Founder & Curator
I am a Philadelphia-based researcher, cultural producer, and community archaeologist. I’m interested in the cross-sections of multi-modal archaeology, art, technology, cultural heritage, anti-capitalism, and liberation. My goal is to contribute to a pedagogy of interdisciplinary Memory Work by and for the people. I currently do freelance work in the realm of community media, art, and storytelling.
I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019 with degrees in Near Eastern Language & Civilization and Digital Humanities. Currently, I am the Associate Producer for Black Spatial Relics and Digital Specialist for African Digital Heritage. I am a recipient of the 2021 Leeway x IPMF Media Artist + Activist Residency with Paul Robeson House & Museum in West Philadelphia. I am also the founder and curator of Memory Studio, an interdisciplinary maker-space reckoning with decolonial knowledge accumulation, production, and speculation.
My praxis is formed by the past, present, and future continuum of freedom dreaming.
