JP Horne is a leader in the AWS Public Sector Sales organization in Amazon Web Services (AWS) South Africa. Having joined the organization in 2018, he has been responsible for starting our public sector and healthcare sales organisation.

JP is a graduate of Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Stellenbosch Business and Harvard Medical school, where he specialized in Leading Digital Transformation in Health Care. His passion is to leverage technology to drive better healthcare outcomes for Africa and using data-driven insights to improve patient outcomes.

JP has worked for some of the largest IT multinationals in South Africa, such as Microsoft and Oracle in various sales and leadership roles, thereby giving him a diverse perspective of being a customer as well as a service provider in the public sector and healthcare business in the country.
