I am Director of Broadcasting at the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA).  I have over ten years of experience in licensing, Monitoring licensed broadcasters and ensuring that they comply with the terms and conditions of their licenses and all applicable laws.

Since I joined the Authority in 2010 I have licensed over 80 traditional broadcasters in various categories such as community radios, private radio and tv and public radio and tv.  I am also involved in training broadcast journalists in ethics, content generation etc

Prior to joining MACRA, I worked as Director of Media and Public Relations at the Malawi Electoral Commission where I also acted as Spokesperson for the Commission for over 10 years
