Bloomberg Television is announcing a programming addition tailored to its African audience. Bloomberg said the new programming slate would improve its current coverage for Africa, including launching a new monthly television programme called “Africa Amplified”, an extension of its famous daily morning show: “Daybreak Middle East and Africa”.
According to Bloomberg executives, its daily morning show Daybreak Middle East & Africa will expand to two hours a day, with the second hour co-anchored by Bloomberg’s correspondent Jennifer Zabasajja from their new studio in Johannesburg. The show displays the market news, data, and analysis business executives and regional viewers need to begin their day.
Africa Amplified is a new monthly show on Bloomberg Television that takes an in-depth look at the biggest and most significant stories across the continent. Concentrating on the rapidly developing business terrain of science and technology, Africa Amplified will look at the substantial developments and hear from the key individuals behind these stories.
Bloomberg Television will add live reporting from Johannesburg, Kigali, and Lagos to enhance its breaking news operations, study and analysis from the region. It will also extend its range in Africa this year.
