Front Row Filmed Entertainment has acquired all Middle East and North Africa (MENA) rights to the highly anticipated fourth instalment of the Riddick franchise, titled Riddick: Furya. Directed by the original Pitch Black filmmaker David Twohy, the film is eagerly awaited and is slated for release on August 26.
In Riddick: Furya, the iconic Vin Diesel returns to his role as Riddick, journeying back to his homeworld, a place shrouded in mystery and danger. Upon his return, Riddick discovers fellow Furyans engaged in a desperate battle for survival against a formidable new adversary. As he confronts these challenges, Riddick uncovers surprising connections to his past, a journey that will evoke nostalgia in fans.
Filming for Riddick: Furya will take place across Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom. This instalment reunites Vin Diesel with writer-director David Twohy, promising fans a continuation of the sci-fi saga.
Vin Diesel will produce the film with Samantha Vincent through his company, One Race Films. The production team includes Thorsten Schumacher from Rocket Science and Lars Sylvest from Thank You Studios, with Joe Neurauter also on board as a producer.
Vin Diesel is represented by CAA and Linden Entertainment, while John Burnham of Atlas Artists represents David Twohy.
