Moshoeshoe Monare will conclude his tenure as the head of SABC News at the end of this month, marking two and a half years of leadership over South Africa’s public broadcaster’s news and current affairs division.
At this time, it remains uncertain who will succeed him or who will take on the role of acting SABC News head until a permanent replacement is appointed.
Monare took on his role in June 2022.
