The Saudi Film Commission has become a member of the International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA), a global network of more than 200 organisations committed to preserving and promoting audiovisual heritage.

This membership aligns with the commission’s mission to enhance Saudi Arabia’s film archiving sector while showcasing Saudi and Arab cinematic history globally. It will also facilitate knowledge exchange, enabling local talent to benefit from international expertise and fostering collaboration in archival collection-sharing with other FIAT/IFTA members.
