“Seven Doors,” as the title suggests, plunges viewers into a realm of mystery and suspense. Set in Ilara, Ondo State, the story follows King Adedunjoye, whose life becomes tumultuous following his coronation. Strained romantic ties, personal loss, and ominous challenges threaten the peace of his village. The king faces a critical choice: open seven doors that may hold the key to salvation for his marriage and the people of Ilara or confront the impending darkness that looms. This rich narrative intricately weaves love, power, betrayal, and redemption themes, offering a deep exploration of human relationships.
During the Q&A segment, the director, Femi Adebayo, spoke candidly about the inspiration and hurdles encountered throughout the filmmaking journey.
“My experience with this project has been incredibly demanding, especially during post-production. But we made it to this moment. Thank you,” he expressed.
