Organisers of The Broadcast and Digital Media Convention Africa 2024 are thrilled to announce Sweet TV as the official principal partner for this year’s event. From October 8th to 10th in Swakopmund, Namibia, the Africa Broadcasters Convention will gather key players from across the value chain to explore the future of content distribution, audience engagement, and digital transformation in Africa.

Sweet TV, one of the fastest-growing video streaming platforms, has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality content to users cost-effectively. With a commitment to providing cutting-edge technology and a rich local and international content library, Sweet TV is uniquely positioned to contribute to the African market’s fast-evolving digital media landscape. Their collaboration with the convention is expected to bring fresh insights into how media platforms can continue to grow, engage audiences, and enhance viewing experiences in the digital era.

Benjamin Pius, CEO of Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), expressed his delight about the partnership, “We are delighted to have Sweet TV on board for this year’s broadcasters convention. Their innovative approach to video streaming aligns perfectly with the themes we’ll be exploring at the event, particularly around audience growth and digital content monetisation. We look forward to the expertise they will share with our delegates.”

The Broadcast and Digital Media Convention Africa 2024 will feature various presentations, panels, and networking opportunities. Top industry leaders will discuss trends in digital broadcasting, regulatory frameworks, OTT platforms, and audience measurement. Sweet TV’s involvement underscores the convention’s mission to bridge the gap between traditional broadcasting and new media, offering delegates valuable insights into the future of media in Africa.

Delegates attending the event will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with representatives from Sweet TV. This interaction will allow them to discuss potential collaborations and explore new distribution and content partnership models in the African region, fostering a sense of active participation and engagement.
