SABA’s Broadcasters Convention 2024 Will Be “A Unique Gathering In Namibia, Focused On The Future Of Broadcasting” – Says DG Of Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC)

The broadcasting landscape in Africa is undergoing a significant transformation as industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers prepare to gather for the 8th Broadcast and Digital Media Convention – Africa 2024. Set against the stunning backdrop of Swakopmund, Namibia, this prestigious event will be held from 8th – 10th October 2024 at the Swakopmund Legacy Hotels And Resorts.

Hosted by the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation, the convention will be co-located with the 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA).

With the theme: Broadcasting And Content Publishing In The AI Infused Digital Ecosystem, this year’s convention aims to foster collaboration and innovation within the broadcasting and digital media sectors. As Africa continues to embrace digital transformation, the event will serve as a platform for stakeholders to explore the latest technological advancements, share insights, and discuss strategies for sustainable growth.

Mr. Stanley Benjamin Similo, Director General of the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (Host) and President of SABA (event co-convener), has expressed his excitement about the upcoming convention. He highlighted the 8th Broadcast and Digital Media Convention – Africa 2024 as a pivotal event for the African broadcasting industry, providing a unique platform for industry professionals to come together, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions that can propel the industry forward.

“The industry meeting promises to be exciting and informative. It will offer attendees a unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders and fellow professionals, explore new technologies, and help shape the future of Africa’s broadcasting and media ecosystem.
