Lagoonie Film Production and Rise Studios have announced that the movie adaptation of Ihsan Abdel-Quddous’ novel, “A Nose and Three Eyes”, will be released in Tunisian cinemas on February 14.

The movie was screened in several Arab and Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, and Syria, debuting on February 8.

The film, directed by Amir Ramsis, featuring a cast of talented actors, including Dhaffer L’Abidine, Saba Mubarak, Salma Abudeif, Sedky Sakhr, Gihan El-Shamashergy, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Nabil Maher, and Selim Mostafa, tells the story of Doctor Hashem, a renowned plastic surgeon in his mid-40s, who is navigating the complexities of love. Despite two previous long-term relationships, he finds himself single until a chance encounter with Ruba, a woman 25 years his junior, takes the narrative in a captivating direction.

The production recently unveiled 14 official character posters featuring the prominent characters of the movie. Amina Khalil will also make a special appearance as a guest of honour.

The movie had its world premiere as part of the Arab Spectacular Programme during the third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival, where it received widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences alike.

Overall, “A Nose and Three Eyes” promises to be a contemporary adaptation of Abdel-Quddous’ renowned novel, brought to the screen once again after the 1972 film adaptation. The movie is expected to captivate audiences with its engaging storyline and star-studded cast.
